Destructors for ozone decomposition in ambient air and residual, post-reaction ozone

Korona laboratory produces ozone destructors of its own design. In addition to the typically industrial destructors intended for the decomposition of large quantities of ozone, we produce smaller – laboratory and semi-technical destructors. In 2016 a regulation imposing the obligation to use destructors when applying ozone generators in both industry and laboratories came into force. Destructors of our production do not contain heaters used to dry the bed. The heaters posed a risk of ignition at high ozone concentrations (above 20,000 ppm). “Korona” destructors are maintenance-free and covered by a four-year warranty.

Ozone destructors are apparatuses in stainless steel cylindrical housing – boiler drums. They have inlet (gas with ozone) and outlet (after the destruction to the atmosphere) connectors. The price of such a destructor (built on an individual order of a customer and adapted to his technological needs) depends on the volume of gas passing through the bed and ozone concentration. In the case of the need to destroy ozone in the surrounding air, it is sucked into the destructor by a turbine.


Industrial post-reaction ozone destructor: 130 L vertical boiler drum on legs, 2 mm lamella sieves, inlet connectors with flanges, outlet connector with a flange, drain connector. Destructor with a maximum flow of 400 m³/h of gas and ozone with ozone concentration up to 60 g/m³. Made in 316 L steel

Korona 1000 laboratory ozone destructor

Laboratory post-reaction residual ozone destructor: boiler drum with the possibility of combining, depending on needs, the quantity and concentration of ozone for destruction. It can be installed, set horizontally or vertically (hung);  flow – 15 L/min. 316 L stainless steel. Dimensions: 450/230 mm.


Korona 1500 ozone destructor

Vertical ozone destructor for small technical and laboratory installations. Adapted to install the meter of ozone concentration after the destruction;  flow – 25 L/min. 316 L stainless steel.
